There you have it, my overly simple day. Since I took the train home for break, I'm left without a car throughout the day, further trapping me in my house. While I do have a long list of TV shows, movies, and korean dramas that I'm interested in and have yet to watch, one can only continue doing the same activity for so long. I never thought it was possible, but I've become tired of watching shows and movies (for the time being). In fact, I'm trying to find activities to do that will pull me away from the computer screen. Aside from my daily exercise and the occasional lunch/dinner and hangouts with friends, I spend the rest of the time in front of my computer - as my schedule as pointed out. The sad part is, each time I try to pull myself away from the computer (by thinking about reading a book or drawing something) I never get around to doing it. Why, you may ask? In the end it comes down to my desire to really do those other activities. Sometimes when I actually get myself to do them, I actually enjoy them and end up doing them for a while. However, as with most things that involve change in a routine, more motivation is required.
So this is my note to myself. Find a way to motivate myself to do varying activities. Stop sitting in front of your computer and just do something else. Who cares if you can't get into the activity, at least you made an attempt. Now I know it's ironic that while typing up this blog post is actually deviating from my daily routine, it is still an activity that requires me to sit in front of the computer. I think I'll make typing up blog posts an exception.
Now that I have rambled enough and realized that my train of thought is indeed all over the place. I think it is time I go back to thinking about what I'm going to do with the rest of my time before I attempt going to sleep at a reasonable hour. Until next time (hopefully tomorrow).
