Summer Activity 7 - Samurai 7

I'm not feeling well today, so I thought it would be a good day to finish up this anime I was watching recently called Samurai 7. My friend Hans suggested this anime to me one night since we were on the topic of anime. I haven't watched anime in a long time since I always felt like it too long to watch it. I resorted to reading the manga instead. However, this anime was only 26 episodes long which further encouraged me to watch it. It's about these peasants who plant rice and have to give almost all this rice to "nobuseri" or bandits. These bandits are ex-samurai who had their souls put into machines to make them more powerful. The story focuses on one village in particular who sends three peasants to hire 4 samurai to help them fight against the bandits. As the title of the anime suggests, the peasants end up with 7 samurai. I'm a personal fan of anime or anything that has to do with samurai, so this anime was definitely enjoyable. If you're looking to pass some time, I highly recommend this anime. For those of you who like Bleach or Rurouni Kenshin, this is a great anime to take a look at. Anyway, I think it's time for me to rest more. Good night?
