Sexual Weapons?
So I just finished watching an episode of The Deadliest Warrior: Season 2 and I have to say, something really made me laugh. This particular episode pitted the Aztec Jaguar Warrior against the Zande Warrior. While both of these warriors were pre-gunpowder, the fight was pretty interesting. But that's not what made me laugh. Two of the weapons the Zande Warriors used were shaped very interestingly. Take a look for yourself.
This weapon is called the Kpinga and is used for long-range combat.
This weapon is called the Makraka and is used for short-range combat.
As you can tell, these weapons either have the shape of the male genitalia on it, or the whole weapon itself is shaped as the male genitalia. The representatives of the Zande Warriors on the show also stated that the Kpinga was shaped that way on purpose to show masculinity. What do you think that has to say? I'll leave that for you guys to figure out yourselves.
