A Long Delayed Update

Let me start out by saying... WOW. Wow, it has indeed been a long time since I posted. All these blog entries are starting to get redundant since they all start out with "It's been a while since I've updated..." and end with "Hopefully I'll update soon again..." There's only one main reason for this, school. Yes school has definitely picked up. I just got finished with my last of my first exams tonight. Let me tell you, these past two "exam" weeks started out well, but ended horribly. My speech presentation and first exam went well. My last three exams did not go well. I can only look forward and think that I now have a little more time to relax and not study as hard. Sure there will always be work to do, but at least I won't have to concentrate a huge amount of time to studying one subject multiple days in a row, one subject after another.

Anyway, enough of that. Moving on to a short update of what has been going on in the past few weeks. Other than school, I've had some minor and one major change in my life. Some minor changes would include getting new shoes and new headphones. I've been waiting to get these two things for so long and I finally gave in to buying them. Here are my new White Supra Skytops
Yes they are all white. Yes I'm afraid of them getting dirty, but what can I do? I already purchased the footlocker sneaker cleaner and waterproofer spray. That should prolong the "whiteness" for a long enough time.

Another thing I purchased was the Dr. Dre Beats headphones. If you don't know what they are, google it. While there are some people who would argue that it's a waste of money and overpriced, I think it is definitely worth the money. The sound quality it gives is great. Add in the aesthetics and you get a great pair of headphones. Original price of these headphones are 300 dollars, but don't worry. I didn't go crazy. I had some left over Amazon.com gift certificate money and knocked down the price to 133 dollars. Good deal huh? I think so.

To conclude tonight's entry, I have recently been taken off the single's market. Yes, I am no longer single. I tried to stay single as long as I could, and I did. While I was single and had some random "relationship" things stuck in there for less than a year - Heck, less than half a year - I think I have finally found someone that I can settle down with for a long time. She is everything that I have waited for and looked for. My past relationships obviously did not work out, and it was partly because they just weren't the right girls for me. Don't get me wrong, they were all nice and great girls. They just weren't that girl for me. I believe there is one girl for every guy out there. It might take some people a while to find that one girl, and others not so long, but nevertheless there is that one girl. It might be too early to say this, but this girl might be that girl for me. I won't go into detail, for that might leave many of you rolling your eyes or throwing up in the trash can right next to you, but she is everything that I was looking for. In the past, I would overlook many things since I was just happy to have someone. But for this girl, I don't need to overlook anything since she is everything that I want. If I had a girlfriend application, there would be no empty boxes for her. The only thing staring back at me would be a paper full of checks.

So as I leave tonight, think about that one portion of your life some of us don't really think about - relationships. Are you picky with who you date? Have you been picky in the past, or are you picky now? Many of us just jump into relationships, myself included. However, it seems like if you wait, you will find your one - The one who you can LIVE with, the one who you can LAUGH with, and the one you can LOVE with. Goodnight world.
