Live. Laugh. Love. Leave?

As this week approaches, there seems to be a lot of things to think about. As my motto is the three L's of Life, I feel like I should add two more L's just for the past few days and this coming week. What are these two L's? You may have guessed already, but they are Last and Leave. Last friday marked the beginning of a somethings that are the last to happen this year or for a while. Last friday was the last day of PCLS Summer Camp, the one my mom organized. I always ate dinner with the three teachers that came overseas from Taiwan to help teach at various chinese summer camps this summer. Because of this, you can say that I grew pretty close to them in one short week. So last friday was the last day of the camp, last saturday was the last time my family and I would see them for a while. A bunch of emotions rise up when I think about all the great times I had when they came to visit. I enjoyed their company every night when we went out to dinner. It had been a while since my family went out and ate with friends so it was refreshing while it lasted.

I grew especially close to one of the teachers since she was around my age. I wasn't sure how old she was that first night my family had dinner with the teachers, but I could tell she was young. In the end she was only two years older than me. It was great to have someone to connect with during those dinners. I can just imagine having dinner with three teachers who were a generation older than me for a week. Wouldn't have been very fun. So during this week, I got to know her well and she turned out to be a very funny and dare i say cute girl? She was very fun to talk to and definitely turned what would be a dull week into a fun and happy one. We played a lot of taiwanese hand games together and I got to release my inner child once again. Considering I'm an only child, it felt good to be able to play with someone else as childish as it sounds. I was just very glad to have the company. One last thing about her, you might be wondering what kind of teacher she is. What could a young woman possibly teach? Well, you can see for yourself.

Awesome right? Anyway, yes she taught chinese yo-yo. The other two teachers taught arts & crafts and "physical arts." What was interesting about these three teachers was that they spanned three generations. One was an elderly woman around the 60-70 year old age range. Another was a male nearing mid-age. Lastly, as you all know by now, was a 21 year old female. Together they formed a lovable group. It is because of this that I was very sad to see them leave yesterday. After leaving our camp, they have two more camps to go teach at before they go back to their homes in Taiwan. I really wish them all the best of luck and I sincerely hope that I will get to seem them again very soon.

So that leaves me with this week. This will be my last week of summer as I prepare to take the PCATs a second time around this saturday and leave for college the day after. Some might be enjoying their last week of summer as much as they can, but I won't be able to. I have to study like crazy and finish up as much of my pharmacy school application and essays as I can. It looks like school starts a week early for me. But sticking to my motto, I sure did live, laugh, and love a lot this past week. I now leave you with a few picks from these past few days.

Wakaka!! Wow, interesting post you have there! I know how it feels when you spend time with a group of people for only a week. Then they have to leave, it feels so sad... D: For me, I went to my relatives to live for a month. When the time came I had to leave. I felt so sad, I actually cried out. D:

Whoa~ Your teacher is amazing awesome! Chinese yo-yo, I could never do that!

Hey, great picture with your family.

Last but not least, good luck with your studies!!

P.S Love your background music! wakak
