so its been a while since ive written in my blog. things have been alright since the last time ive been on here. im currently just recovered from being sick for a week. for some reason i dont get sick too often, but when i do, its those one week sicknesses lol. anyway, im not quite FULLY recovered yet but i basically am. I played basketball for the first time in a while today. It was also the first time that I've exercised in a week due to my sickness. It felt good, but painful at the same time, for i am now sore and super exhausted because of it.

moving on, im typing up this blog entry on my new netbook. i can most definitely say that buying a netbook is worth it. It's not very expensive for all the great features they give you. For one, it is very portable. You can literally take it anywhere and it is not a hassle because of its small and light frame. Of course this would depend on which netbook you purchase, but they are all around 2-4 lbs, which is pretty light for a normal and able human being. The netbook I got is the Asus EEE 10.2" netbook.

There is an 8.9" one but i didnt want it to be too small. Although I am quite young, I still would have to squint at the screen if I got the smaller version. That's something I dont want to do. So yes, I am quite happy with my purchase. I can take this little beast and lie or sit on my bed and type or browse. I did a little bit of research and this particular one seemed like the best bet for its money and such. Aesthetically speaking, there are three different colors that you could get it in that i know of - white, blue, and black. Mine is black just because i like things that are all black. I also like white, but white shows when the computer gets dirty and stuff, so i got the black one. I got it on sale at target for $320 - a good bargain id say. Of course for all of you people out there who are looking for netbooks, I would still say research a bit before you take my word for what I think is best since everyone is entitled to their own opinion. but yes, i am quite happy at the moment. O! one more thing before i sign off on this entry. the battery life on netbooks tend to be much better than regular laptops so that is another plus. The battery i use right now is a 4 cell battery which, when used at its full potential (meaning putting the netbook on low power settings and basically not doing anything on it) can pump out 3.5 hours of battery life. not bad right? i heard that the 6 cell battery is the best and can be used for 9 hours!!! but i havent done my research fully on it yet. if thats true, then i would definitely look into purchasing it if not too expensive. but what cant be found at a cheaper price these days right? ebay is magnificent :) well thats it for now. i dont know how long it will be until i post another entry, but i suppose ill just have to wait for another time when i really have nothing else to do or whenever i get inspired to write an entry. toodles.
